Amanda Ramrup is owner and Director of East York Performing Arts Centre. Amanda studied at Thornhill School of Ballet since childhood. Amanda started choreographing for musicals at the age of 16 for Markham Youth Theatre. Amanda went to Ryerson University for Theatre Technical Production, majoring in costume design. Owning the school has been a phenomenal experience and Amanda looks forward to seeing the school grow and flourish in the East York community. |

Dianne Fukunaga teaches Ballet, Jazz, Tap and Creative. Dianne trained at Thornhill School of Ballet since the age of three. There she received her training in the Royal Academy of Dance syllabus for ballet and holds her British Association of Teachers of Dancing Associates for Jazz, Tap and Stage. She received her B.F.A. in Photography at Ryerson University and is our full-time dance teacher and Artistic Director. Dianne continues to dance professionally around the world, most notably as a Flamenco dancer. |

Laura Sanhueza teaches Hip Hop. Laura graduated from Claude Watson School of the Arts in Toronto. She has her B.A. in kinesiology from York University and trains as a triathlete. She has been a choreographer for many music videos and events for urban Canadian talent. She continues to perform as a professional Hip Hop dancer throughout Ontario. Laura has been our primary Hip Hop teacher for the last three years and looks forward to continuing to train new Hip Hop talent. |

Moira Richards teaches Irish dancing. She has been dancing for nine years and competing for eight. For the past three years, Moira has competed in the Eastern Regional Canadian Championships for Irish dance. Moira served as team captain of Greenfire Children's Dance Company and appeared on Breakfast Television and in various events such as the Toronto Street Festival, Cabbagetown Festival and First Night. She continues to dance competitively with the Gilchrist School of Irish Dancing. Moira looks forward to sharing her talents for a second year at East York Performing Arts Centre. |

Margot Thomaidis teaches Irish dancing. She has been dancing for nine years and competed for seven, including competing at the North American Nationals. Margot has appeared on Breakfast Television and in various events such as the Toronto Street Festival, Cabbagetown Festival and First Night as part of Greenfire Children's Dance Company. She presently dances with Gilchrist School of Irish Dancing. Margot is very excited to be a part of East York Performing Arts Centre and looks forward to her second year of teaching. |
